Timothée Chalamet makes his second appearance as host on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

“This is my second time hosting ‘Saturday Night Live,’ but in many ways it feels like my first time. Because the last time was during Covid, it was so different. I wore a mask all week — I don’t think Lorne Michaels knew who I was; he called me ‘Winona.’ ‘ kept calling,” quipped Salamet as he began his monologue. “But I feel lucky to be hosting after the SAG strike ends.”
Things took a musical turn when Salamet broke into song to draw attention to his plans.
“My new movie ‘Wonka’ hits theaters December 15th. Fandango.com, the keyword is ‘Damn, Hugh Grant Got That Oompa Loompa Dump Truck,'” gushed the Oscar-nominated star. “If you want to watch a three-and-a-half-hour movie, go see ‘Killer Moonlight.’ Or wait for ‘Doon’ part 2, and make sure before you use the bathroom.”

After Salamet’s character plays a song for the group, they aren’t too impressed. But still, “Would you share this on Instagram?” He asks.
The group agrees and asks Salamate for his Instagram username. “It’s Hamas, Hamas,” he replies.
“Yeah, dude, I’m not sharing a Hamas song on Instagram,” says Please Don’t Destroy’s Martin Herlihy.
Another X user wrote:: “SNL writers are partially to blame for the Hamas joke, yes, but SNL writers pitch their ideas to the hosts + the hosts have the ability to say no to sketches they don’t like… so stupid to sit here and act like Timothée Chalamet. People were helpless during filming.”
