Grand Falls-Windsor marks Remembrance Day

Hundreds of people turned out on a blustery but relatively clear day in Grand Falls-Windsor to mark Remembrance Day on Sunday.

Representatives of various military branches and their corresponding youth groups, community organizations, and politicians laid dozens of wreaths on the cenotaph to honour and remember those who served Canada in all conflicts, but especially the First World War, as this Nov. 11 marks 100 years since the armistice.
