Volleyball tournament in St. Anthony


Teams and parents made their way to White Hills Academy to play

ST. ANTHONY, NL – Young volleyball players made their way down to the White Hills Academy for the 2018 Junior Volleyball Championship on Saturday, Jan. 27.

Teams from across the Great Northern Peninsula competed, including girls, boys and unisex teams. Family, friends and fellow students also came down to cheer the teams on.

The Roddickton-Bide Arm Cloud River Academy won first place in both junior girls and junior boys. Second place for junior girls was Plum Point’s Viking Trail Academy, and St. Anthony’s White Hills Academy took second place in junior boys.

The championship was sponsored by School Sports NL.
