Glovertown gymnasts put on a show at year-end performance

Eagles soar once again

GLOVERTOWN, N.L. – After a hiatus in 2017, the Glovertown Academy Eagles Gymnastics Club year end performance returned this year to close out the gymnastic season for students and their families.

The gymnastics program in Glovertown currently has 66 participants from preschool to Grade 11. All but the very youngest preschoolers were represented at the Monday, May 14 event at Glovertown Academy’s Big Gym.

Preschoolers lined up and took turns on the mini bar, beam and incline mat with the help of their coaches. Older gymnasts performed on the beam, vault and floor in overlapping performances. The level 2 and 3 gymnasts closed out the show with a combined floor routine full of tumbling and flips. The competitive group has one more competition before closing out the season in June.
