It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Bernadette on April 28th, 2018 after a very brief illness at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony. Bernadette was a beautiful, kind, and devoted wife to her husband, Francis, of nearly 57 years. She was also a devoted mother to her children, 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories, her husband, Francis; sons, Fred (Maureen), Gordon, Steve (Sharon), Leonard (Mary), Wayne (Diane), Clem, Edward (Charmaine); daughters Eileen, and Denise (Wes). She also leaves to mourn, her siblings; Wilbert (Josie), Patrick, Delores (Peter), Bridget (Donald), Irene (Edward), Philip (Phyllis), Sadie (Gerald), and a large circle of extended family and friends. Bernadette was predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Bridget Bromley. Visitation was held from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony. The funeral was held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Goose Cove, attended by a large circle of family and friends. Father George officiating. Cremation followed with inurnment to follow at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, Funeral director.
