CLARENVILLE, NL — Charges have been laid against two men, Colby Justin Marsh and Christopher Wade Sutton, following an incident Sunday morning, Jan. 28, at a residence on Cormack Drive in Clarenville.
RCMP were called to the scene early Sunday morning. One of the men had been at large and was the subject of an arrest warrant. The other man had been sought by police in regard to a separate investigation from the Bonavista area.
Both men were apprehended at the scene.
Marsh and Sutton have been charged with allegedly possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, tampering with firearm serial numbers, breach of firearm regulations, and possessing a weapon with ammunition. Sutton is also facing a charge of assault and breach of a firearm prohibition order, while Marsh is facing a charge of theft under $5,000.
