Shawna Reardon of St. Anthony has raised a total of $1,556.25 for the Kids Eat Smart program. The donations resulted from “Project Amanda,” a fundraiser Reardon held on Dec. 17 at the St. Anthony Lions Club. The project was named in honour of her late sister, Amanda Patey-Swinimer, to continue her charitable spirit. Industrious student Jacob Bussey made and sold glass art at a community sale and donated a portion of his sales ($105) to the Kids Eat Smart program. Through the initiative, which operates 240 clubs throughout the province, more than 22,000 meals are served to children in schools and community centres daily.
