The K-3 classroom at St. Mary's All-Grade was presented with a Youth Spin Bike for their classroom on Jan. 19.

The donation came from local parent, Allister Russell. He learned from a radio broadcast in the fall that a primary school in Goose Bay had these types of bikes in their school, and it was helping students improve concentration and physical activity and helping them learn how to take turns and share.

He learned from a radio broadcast in the fall that a primary school in Goose Bay had these types of bikes in their school, and it was helping students improve concentration and physical activity and helping them learn how to take turns and share.

Russell was intrigued and decided to look into it further. He approached the school in Mary's Harbour to offer to donate.

Needless to say students and teacher involved at St. Mary's All Grade was so impressed to be getting such an immense gift for their classroom. The bike is a wonderful addition to the classroom and the students are very excited.
