The Grade 9 Religion class at Gros Morne Academy completed a special project for the Christmas season this year.

Teacher Amanda Kean enjoyed giving the students a positive challenge for December.

“As a means of being good Samaritans and recognizing the value in charity, the students created dolls for donation to Ronald McDonald House in St. John’s,” she said. The dolls are made of felt and cotton. It was hard work over several classes to complete the project. None of the students had sewing experience, but they “put their heart and soul into making the dolls” for those who had to be in the hospital Christmas time.
