July 1, 2017 marked Canada's 150th anniversary of confederation.

The Town of Roddickton-Bide Arm celebrated the event with a flag raising, parade, ceremony, food, games for the kids and live entertainment.

It was a beautiful day with a record number of people dressed in Canada Day attire, creating a sea of red and white.

Lots of delicious barbecue was served during the festivities.
