Elizabeth Kidd named College of the North Atlantic’s new president

Elizabeth Kidd will head up the College of the North Atlantic as president and CEO (interim.)

Advanced Education, Skills and Labour Minister Gerry Byrne announced her appointment on Friday.

Kidd has been with the college since 2016 as vice-president, corporate services. Prior to that she spent more than two decades in leadership roles on both the private and public sectors, including serving as vice-president, corporate services at Collège Boréal in Sudbury, Ontario.

In a press release, Byrne said is confident that under Kidd’s leadership the province will achieve its vision of the college’s campuses serving as regional centres of innovation, research and development.
