Maurice's Service Center posted three wins last week to move into second place in the standings in action from the St. Anthony and Area Men's Slo Pitch League.

Maurice's Service Center started out the week with a 9-4 decision over the HCC Huskies. Maurice's scored five runs in the first inning and held the Huskies bats in check for most of the game. Scott Coish and Brent Hancock led Maurice's with three hits each while scoring two runs each. Riley Ricks responded for the Huskies by banging out three hits.

Maurice's Service Center started out the week with a 9-4 decision over the HCC Huskies. Maurice's scored five runs in the first inning and held the Huskies bats in check for most of the game. Scott Coish and Brent Hancock led Maurice's with three hits each while scoring two runs each. Riley Ricks responded for the Huskies by banging out three hits.

In their second game of the week, Maurice's Service Center edged Griquet 7-6. Scott Coish and Brent Hancock once again had three hits each in the victory. Mark Pilgrim responded for Griquet going three-for-four at the plate.

In their final game of the week, Maurice's Service Center shaded Northern Home Care 27-26 in a slugfest. Maurice's Service Center scored nine runs in the bottom of the seventh and posted another run in the eighth inning to pick up the extra inning victory. Todd Taylor held the hot bat for Maurice's Service Center going five-for-five at the plate while scoring four runs, including the game winner. Danny Simms responded for Northern Home Care going seven-for-eight at the plate while scoring seven runs.

In other action, Canadian Light posted a pair of mercy-rule victories to extend their winning streak to six games. In their first game of the week, Canadian Light trounced Griquet 20-2. Canadian Light posted five runs in each of the first four innings to pick up the convincing victory. Ralph Smith led Canadian Light with four hits while scoring three runs. Alwin Blake responded for Griquet with three hits in the loss.

In their final game of the week, Canadian Light downed the HCC Huskies 18-6. Canadian Light scored five runs in the first and third innings en route to the convincing victory. Ryan Pittman and Mark Kendall led Canadian Light with four hits each in the victory. Adam Pynn responded for the Huskies with a pair of hits including a three-run shot in the loss.
