Letters to the Editor -
Dear Editor,
I'm writing this letter because I have a concern.
I would like for someone to come forward and tell me what the problem is that I can't get work in Englee. I haven't worked on a program in Englee since 2006.
I think they have something against me. I have to go away every year for eight weeks work, while the other people can stay home and get work on make-work programs that the government hands out for them.
I guess someone who looks for work themselves gets the dirty end of the stick. I don't know what they would do only for the Major in Englee.
The Council told me last year I would get work in April 2010. April is here and gone, what are they waiting for, April 2011 to come? Ever since the plant closed some people do look for work where others don't.
They wait for JCP make work programs. I can really say I look for work, I don't wait for government to get work for me. I won't be putting my name on any more lists for work in Englee.
If they phone me, o.k. If not, that's o.k. too. I still live if I got to go away to P.E.I for work. I really do think they have something against me. People do ask whether they have something against me. Even the MHA asked the same question.
I'm only human, I need work in Englee too.
Yours truly,
Patsy Fillier
