Letter to the Editor - Dear Editor,
I would like to invite your readers to take part in a project called butterfly messengers. The project has been ongoing for more than a year now and there is only a couple of months left for submissions.
For those readers not familiar with the project, I am attempting to gather stories about butterflies that have visited people after they have lost a friend or relative. Often people need a sign that their loved ones are still close by and have only passed over to the other side. Quite often they ask for a butterfly to appear as a sign. Many of the stories I received to date are about real live butterflies showing up at very special times, such as anniversary's and birthdays. Other stories are of butterfly pictures, dreams about butterflies and even a moth. All the stories are very touching, especially those dealing with the death of children. The stories will be published in a book entitled Butterfly Messengers.
I have a publishing deal signed and they are anxiously waiting for the book to be completed. I would like to urge any of your readers who might have a story to get it in to me before the end of December in order for it to be included in the book. The more stories I have the more special it will be.
Please email stories to lloydh@nf.sympatico.ca or, if you prefer the old fashioned way send them to Lloyd Hollett, 17 King Street, Pasadena, NL, A0L 1K0. Thanks you for your help in making this project possible.
