St. Anthony's water will be shut off on Saturday for 12 hours as contractors work to upgrade to the town's intake at St. Anthony Pond.

St. Anthony's water will be shut off on Saturday for 12 hours as contractors work to upgrade to the town's intake at St. Anthony Pond.

Residents and businesses may encounter a complete loss of water, partial loss of water, pressure loss on water system and/or dirt in water system.

Precautionary boil water advisory will be in place starting at 7am until further notice.

Residents are asked to boil water vigorously for a period of one minute (minimum) before consuming.

Council suggests that when the new system is turned on residents are encouraged to run cold water lines until dirt is removed from the home and clean all filters and tap screens. The council also suggests people take precautions to protect furnaces and hot water systems, if necessary.
