It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert Samson announce his passing on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Evangeline; sons Lonnie (Gladys), Philip (Annah), Frank (Viola) of River of Ponds; daughters Karen (the late Thomas Prosper), White Court, Alberta and Dana (Allison), St. Anthony; grandchildren Connie (Gorvin), Jillian (Marty), Andre, Zachary, Aiden, Mason, Daley, Gregory, Gwendolyn, Mackenzie and Abigail; great-grandchildren Ava, Brooke-lynn, Chloe, Austin, William, Jasmine, Haylee and Luke; brothers Ralph (Marion) and Bradley (Mary); sisters Bride (Julian), Marjorie, Dorcas, Kathleen (Loman), Blanche (Donald) and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Violet, brother Walter, brothers-in-law Wilson and Garfield. The family received friends at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in River of Ponds, Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service took place on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
